InTBIR 2022 General Assembly and Scientific Meeting
The 2022 InTBIR General Assembly and Scientific Meeting was held on Saturday 16th July ahead of the 15th International Neurotrauma Symposium at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Berlin.
Members attended both in person and online to hear updates from the newly formed Working Groups, presentations from other InTBIR members on planned and ongoing collaborative research as well as the Keynote presentation which was given by Professor Andrew Maas.
The key aims of the meeting were to:
- Welcome new members to InTBIR and explain what we seek to achieve and how we plan to go about it.
- Provide an update from the Working Groups to allow members to choose areas of collaboration and contribution.
- Update members on proposed funding opportunities for TBI research and provide an opportunity to discuss collaborative multinational applications to address these opportunities.
- Provide a platform for individuals to present planned and ongoing research, with the aim of identifying research partners in other disciplines or countries.
The meeting concluded with the Keynote presentation from Professor Andrew Maas titled “Looking back to move forward”.
