The overall objective of the working group is to assist in the development, design and delivery of clinical trials, specifically multicentre international randomised control trials, in the field of traumatic brain injury.
The aims of the working group are to:
- To help developing large scale practice changes international multicentre trials
- identify the challenges and solutions in the delivering these trials in relation to:
- Defining the research question and equipoise
- Protocol design
- Conduction and recruitment
- identify the challenges and solutions in the delivering these trials in relation to:
- Look at novel approaches in terms of trial design and methodology e.g. platform trials, adaptive trial design to increase the efficiency and cost effectiveness of clinical trials
