The 7th Annual InTBIR Meeting held in Brussels, Belgium. on October 19-20, 2018 was convened to review progress toward achieving the goal of improving outcomes and lessening the global burden of traumatic brain injury (TBI).

The sixth conference of the International Initiative for Traumatic Brain Injury Research (InTBIR) was convened to review progress toward achieving the goal of improving outcomes and lessening the global burden of traumatic brain injury (TBI) by 2020. InTBIR was founded in 2012 by funding agencies from the EU, Canada and the United States. This year’s meeting was sponsored by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
